Carving tips for this stencil
- The castle stays as pumpkin with small window openings. Cut the windows first while the wall is strong, then the moon in sections.
- Difficulty: Challenging. Plan on an evening and use a small kit saw, not a kitchen knife.
- Usually cut small inner pieces before big outer ones, so the pumpkin stays strong while you work.
- Choose a pumpkin with a smooth face at least 9 inches across and thin the wall behind the design from the inside.
