FREE STENCILS

Free pumpkin carving stencils to print

Pick a stencil, print the PDF at 100% scale, and carve. Black areas are cut away and glow; white areas stay as pumpkin. Every stencil passed the same carving checks as a paid CarveKin pattern: every piece stays attached and meets the minimum width check.

Dog stencils

Popular breeds, drawn so dark fur stays as pumpkin and light fur glows.

Cat stencils

Cat faces with the ears, eyes and markings that make each breed recognizable.

Halloween classics

Classic faces, bats and other Halloween shapes with bold lines.

How to use them

  1. Open the stencil page and download the Letter or A4 PDF.
  2. Print at 100% or "Actual size", not "Fit to page". Measure the 50 mm check bar on the first page.
  3. Each stencil is 180 mm (about 7 inches) wide including its white margin, which suits a medium carving pumpkin.
  4. Tape the pattern to the pumpkin, poke along the lines with a pin tool, then cut the black areas with a small kit saw.

The animals were drawn from sample photos made with AI, not real pets. The glowing images are digital previews, not photos of carved pumpkins. Free for personal use; please link to this page rather than reposting the files.

Want one of your own pet?

These stencils show a generic beagle or Siamese. CarveKin makes the same kind of pattern from your own photo, so it looks like your dog, your cat or your kid. You crop the photo, pick from three designs, and print the PDF at the size you choose. One pattern is $4.99.
