Carving tips for this stencil
- Cut the eyes first and the large mouth last. Keep the white cheek areas and the white notch at the bottom of the mouth, which separates its two hanging points.
- Difficulty: Easy. Fine for a first pumpkin.
- Usually cut small inner pieces before big outer ones, so the pumpkin stays strong while you work.
- Choose a pumpkin with a smooth face at least 9 inches across and thin the wall behind the design from the inside.
