180 mm (about 7 inches) wide including the white margin. Letter: 1 page. A4: 1 page. Print at 100% and measure the 50 mm check bar before you carve.
Carving tips for this stencil
- Cut the eyes before the mouth. Keep the white band below the eyes and the white points along the bottom of the frown; do not extend the cuts to sharpen them.
- Difficulty: Easy. Fine for a first pumpkin.
- Usually cut small inner pieces before big outer ones, so the pumpkin stays strong while you work.
- Choose a pumpkin with a smooth face at least 9 inches across and thin the wall behind the design from the inside.
