180 mm (about 7 inches) wide including the white margin. Letter: 1 page. A4: 1 page. Print at 100% and measure the 50 mm check bar before you carve.
Carving tips for this stencil
- Cut the eyes and mouth before the two large moon openings. Keep the white bridge above the head and the broad base below the ghost, which attach it to the surrounding pumpkin.
- Difficulty: Easy. Fine for a first pumpkin.
- Usually cut small inner pieces before big outer ones, so the pumpkin stays strong while you work.
- Choose a pumpkin with a smooth face at least 9 inches across and thin the wall behind the design from the inside.
