Carving tips for this stencil
- A great first pumpkin. Cut the stem marks and eyes first, then the mouth, sawing slowly around the three square teeth, which stay as pumpkin.
- Difficulty: Easy. Fine for a first pumpkin.
- Cut from the center outward, so the pumpkin stays strong while you work on the edges.
- Choose a pumpkin with a smooth face at least 9 inches across and thin the wall behind the design from the inside.
